We are delighted to share that, thanks to the tireless efforts of the Neville Hill community fundraisers and the support of the Sussex Heart Charity, a new lifesaving defibrillator has been successfully installed at Neville Hill Estate in Lewes.
This vital addition to the community was made possible through the generous contributions and hard work of local residents. A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who participated in the fundraising activities and supported this initiative. Special recognition is due to the Neville Hill Residents Association, who played a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition.
The defibrillator is now strategically placed to be accessible to approximately 2,000 local residents, as well as walkers, bikers, and visitors to the South Downs. This placement ensures that the device will be available to a broad audience, enhancing the safety and well-being of everyone in the area.
Sussex Heart Charity trustee Angela Brinkhurst was on hand to present the defibrillator to the Neville Hill Residents Association, marking a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to improve community health and save lives.
Together, we are making a meaningful difference in the community, reinforcing our commitment to enhancing emergency response capabilities and supporting overall public health.
