On Wednesday evening, we had the pleasure of visiting Sue and the Dance Central team in Goring.
Sue had booked one of our free Rescue Ready sessions, and it was fantastic to attend this and to see so many people taking the opportunity to learn lifesaving skills.
Rescue Ready teaches CPR and AED (defibrillator) awareness to local groups and communities, helping to give everyone the knowledge and confidence to act in an emergency when it matters most.

A huge thank you to Sally from our training partner, Pulse South Coast, for delivering such an engaging and informative session.
Sally highlighted just how vital those first few minutes are when someone suffers a cardiac arrest and showed how every one of us can make a difference by starting CPR and using a defibrillator. Every second counts – and those simple actions could save a life.

During the evening, we were delighted to thank Sue and everyone at Dance Central for their incredible fundraising efforts. Together, they have raised an amazing £2,219.54 for SHC. From their brilliant pre-walk dance display at our walk in May to their enthusiastic fundraising, their support has been truly fantastic.
Pictured below is Sue with members of Dance Central presenting their donation to the SHC:

We were also lucky enough to watch Dance Central’s evening class in action. It was fantastic to see the dancers performing their routines – and we may even have had a little preview of what they could be performing at our sponsored walk next year!
As a small token of our appreciation, we presented Sue and the team with an SHC appreciation frame to thank them for their continued support.

Thank you Dance Central – we truly value your support and look forward to working with you all again soon. ❤️ ❤️
