The fourth defibrillator installed as part of a joint project with the Sussex Heart Charity and the Chairman of Adur District Council – Cllr Joss Loader was unveiled today.
The public has 24/7 emergency access to the AED after it was installed outside the nursery on Tarmount Lane.
Parents and staff at the Sunshine Nursery in Shoreham, joined forces with organisers of a community crowd-funding appeal to secure the second publicly-accessible defibrillator for the town centre.
The Sussex Heart Charity has match-funded the amount raised for each of the defibrillators involved in the joint project.
This AED joins the others which have already been installed at The Bridge Inn on Shoreham High Street; Ferry Road, The Moorings at Emerald Quay and the Church of the Good Shepherd all on Shoreham Beach; and outside Visions Hair Salon in Crabtree Lane, Lancing. With more to come!

“We were really keen have a defibrillator installed on the wall outside our nursery, it will be available to the whole community 24/7.”
