Former 2017-18 Brighton and Hove Mayor Mo Marsh met Sussex Heart Charity Vice Chair Jason Palmer and Co-Chair Dr. Rachael James at the Royal Sussex County hospital on 17th September to present a cheque for £9,400.
The Sussex Heart Charity was one of five charities the mayor chose to support.
Mo Marsh said:
“I was delighted The Sussex Heart (SHC) agreed to be one of my Famous Five charities. The SHC is the county’s largest heart charity which does incredible work. I was really impressed with the recent defibrillator project, Automated External Defibrillators are an instant lifesaver.”
Terry Ayres, CEO for the charity said:
“Thank you, Mo, for your invaluable support of our work and helping us to continue to support heart patients in Sussex.”
