Join us for an afternoon of tennis!

We’re delighted to announce that Preston Park Tennis Courts is holding an American Doubles Tournament on Saturday 27th September, with proceeds going to the SHC.

The American style tournament is a quick-fire doubles format where players rotate partners – it’s designed to be fun and social and is open to players of all levels and all ages.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Play with Various Partners: The format ensures you play with as many partners as possible. You won’t play with the same person twice in a row.
• Timed Rounds: Each round lasts 20 minutes. Your goal is to accumulate as many games as you can within this time.
• Sudden Death: To keep the games quick and exciting, there will be sudden death on the second deuce. Approximately 7 Rounds with minimal waiting between rounds.

The event is being held from 1pm – 4pm on the tennis courts by the Rotunda café in Preston Park.

Spectators are very welcome too! There will be refreshments, a raffle, and the chance to support the SHC while watching some ‘ace’ tennis.

We’ll be running a SHC stall and would love to see you there – everyone is sure to have a smashing time!
