£20,000 for Worthing Hospital
The Sussex Heart Charity have agreed funding of £20,000 as requested by Dr Mark Signey. this will be used to fund the purchase of a lifestyle cardiac conferencing system for use in Worthing hospitals. More information to follow….

The Sussex Heart Charity has awarded to the evelauation of endoscopic vein harvest. ( Endoscopic vein harvest is a minimally invasive procedure undertaken through keyhole surgery to collect a section of vein usually from the leg to act as a graft for the heart operation). £50,000 Research Bursary approved for 2010 – 2011
David Hildick-Smith requested funding of £50,000.00 - To fund half the time of a Research Registrar doing an MD thesis on patient foramen ovale and renal disease.

£28,500 Research grant approved
