Extended Basic Life Support
The course is run over 5 hours (one day) and contains both theory and practical sessions. It is primarily designed for businesses, and can be tailored to individual requirements
The cost of this course when run at your premises for a group of up to 10 students is £250 including VAT. This cost is subsidised by the Sussex Heart Charity.
The course covers:
- Basic Life Support
- Head injuries and unconsciousness
- Shock
- Simple treatment for suspected fractures
- Burns
- Severe bleeding
- An introduction to defibrillation
- Familiarisation in the use of Automated External Defibrillators
Candidates will be issued with a certificate of attendance
