Extended Emergency Life Support Training
The knowledge and skills you will learn on an Extended Emergency Life Support course are of great importance. It may be that, one day, the only thing that stands between you and the death of a colleague, friend or a member of your family are the skills acquired during this course.
Courses can be arranged for any business, club/society at a time most convenient to the group. We are very flexible, and able to arrange training to suit your requirements. The course is run over 5 hours (one day), during which you will be taught to deal with an emergency situation prior to medical aid arriving, and includes both theory and practical sessions within a relaxed atmosphere that is designed to promote confidence.
This course is primarily designed for business, but can be tailored to your requirements
The cost of this course when run at your premises for a group of up to 10 students is £250 including VAT. Please note the cost is subsidized by the Sussex Heart Charity and only covers our expenses.
During your course you will be taught many aspects of first aid emergency care:
- Resuscitation and emergency life support
- Dealing with head injuries and unconscious persons
- Treatment of shock
- Simple treatment for suspected fractures
- First Aid for burns
- Control of severs bleeding
- How to deal with a choking person
- Familiarisation in the use of Automated External Defibrillators
Candidates will be issued with a certificate of attendance
